Analytical Science & Technology Lead
Our client, a global pharma company, are currently recruiting for an Analytical Science & Technology Lead to join their state of the art biologics facility on a permanent basis. As Analytical Science & Technology Lead you will lead the Analytical Science and Laboratory Systems team. This is a critical role and you will be responsible for providing leadership at global and site level in the development of plans for new analytical technology introduction and in the commercialization of new biologics-based medicines.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high performing team of experts in analytical sciences and laboratory systems
- Provide technical oversight for the introduction of new products to a state of the art biologics facility
- Strong Analytical Technology Transfer knowledge & problem-solving skills
- In-depth analytical science, method development & method validation expertise
- Ability to translate equipment & technical requirements from development to the testing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory systems & equipment qualification
- Coach & develop AS&T scientists in new product introduction and complex investigations
- Working collaboratively across disciplines to create long range analytical technology plans with Global Development & Commercialisation Teams
- Represent the site at Global Product Forums & Partner with Global Centres of Excellence
Requirements
- Degree qualification (Analytical Science/Science/Technical), Masters / Ph.D. desirable
- Prior experience in Biologics Method Establishment, Technology Transfer & Method Development / Validation
- 6-10 years’ industry experience in Biopharmaceuticals
- Experience in direct people management and ability to coach a talented team of technical professionals
- Strong Organizational Skills – ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively across a global organization
- Flexible, self-motivated with a passion for innovation
