Our client is a leading Global organisation who develops & provides solutions & capital equipment to the Biopharma Sector. This position will hold responsibility for growing and manging our clients Biologics instrument portfolio across the region. Working closely with the Instrument product manager, you will offer customers a high level of value by supporting their research with unique solutions. Based in Ireland you will develop a deep knowledge of customers, their workflows and the wider market in order to achieve strategies to increase business and market share.


  • Responsible for the growth of our clients Biologics instrument portfolio throughout the North Atlantic Region
  • To develop a high level of understanding of our clients products and delivering value through a solution-based approach
  • Identify and develop Executive level relationships to drive key partnership opportunities
  • Identification of prospective customers to engage and initiate discussions, via multiple touch points including email, phone and social media
  • Business Plan development for each key account
  • Understand the full Pharmaceutical workflow and Network throughout the region
  • Using Industry knowledge, aim to initiate workflow discussions early in the planning phase of product development
  • Build and strengthen your network and relationships within the customer organisation
  • Understanding customer goals, focus, budgets, needs, preferences and their influencers
  • Awareness of customer views on competitor products
  • Work closely with the Full Portfolio Account Managers to enhance account opportunities and expand the business
  • Work with Marketing to execute region specific campaigns
  • Identification and management of local tenders in the region
  • Forecasting revenue on monthly and quarterly basis to the Territory Business Manager
  • Represent the company and network at domestic and international conferences
  • BSc in a biological based subject
  • Capital equipment sales process experience in the life science market
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience of account planning and working in a results driven environment
  • Experience using digital business tools including Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word), Salesforce CRM
  • A great communicator who can listen and understand the needs of the customer
  • Able to build strong relationships with customers and quickly to become a trusted partner
  • A self-motivated, strategic planner who gets huge satisfaction in growing accounts
  • Demonstrates reliable and responsive communication with customers and colleagues alike
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships cross functionally
  • Flexible approach to cover the work as required
