Our client a global healthcare company currently seeks a Director Device Program Lead to join their team. Role is responsible for managing a team of Program Managers with a Global Development Group


Role/Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team responsible for the in-house design and development of a new drug delivery device or platform technology, from concept through to commercialization.
• Providing technical project management, leadership and planning expertise to manage the program plan in order to meet or exceed program objectives.
• Managing project controls (budget, schedule, risk management) and working with the team to manage schedule conflict issues and resource peaks/troughs, and where appropriate manage escalations to leadership in a timely fashion.
• Communicating technical and/or project information to key stakeholders.
• Relationship management of contract manufacturing organizations or other partner organizations to enable delivery of the project with the most appropriate mix of internal and external resources.

• Bachelors’ Degree in a pharmaceutical science or engineering discipline is essential.
• Higher Degree, PhD, MSc or MBA is desirable.
• Senior Project Management experience with PMP certification.
• Experience of working across the full project development cycle, from discovery / in-licensing through to registration, launch and post-market support.
