Our client are an innovative Pharmaceutical & Health Science discovery organisation who are leading the way in terms of R&D with applications across a range of industries. Due to tremendous developments and commercial growth within the organisation, they are currently seeking to hire a high profile Global Head of Manufacturing to oversee the manufacturing function. This will include the planning, coordinating, and directing of all manufacturing, Tech Transfer and commercial related activities associated with this division.
As the lead for this department you will be their in-house expert and external liaison expert on hydrolysate manufacturing. You will be joining an exceptionally focused and innovative team of specialists who are driving change within the world of health science and are passionate about changing people’s lives, so they are looking for someone who can play a leading role to set up & drive their Manufacturing divison.

·Extensive knowledge of taking products from R&D through to the upscaling process.
·Broad knowledge of industrialisation principles and technical risks during process scale-up/technical transfer.
·Experienced in hydrolysate manufacturing troubleshooting, implementing control strategies, continuous improvement of product performance and ongoing product life-cycle management.
·Thorough understanding and knowledge of Material Science and testing principles relating to these products with hands on experience in characterisation of these products.
·Detailed understanding of the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) expectation in Hydrolysate manufacturing environment.
·Experienced in the regulations, requirements and guidelines
·Driving and owning the full cycle production run including full internal scale up process
·Extensive experience working with CRO’s to deliver a high-quality product and best in class technical transfers in turn maximising the objectives of each collaboration.
·Design, develop and implement a culture of continuous improvement and best practice methodologies
·Develop and drive all relevant relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

·Degree within Science or Manufacturing
·Previous experience working in a hydrolysate manufacturing environmentis essential
·10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods or biotech industries
·Extensive people management and technical experience within a manufacturing environment
·Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for this role.
·Ability to problem solve and use good judgement to make sound business decisions
·Demonstrated experience in driving performance and develop teams to achieve results
