Technical Sales Engineer
A highly technical role with a commercial focus, this normal;ly concerns a specific line of products. The role can often suit someone who has a specific PhD (e.g. in Fluorescence Microscopy / Photonics /Nanotechnology / CCD Spectroscopy etc). As with many of the sales roles, extensive travel is involved, normally on an EU or worldwide basis.
Help meet Sales & Marketing Team objectives through the effective sales development within the Systems business segment.
Responsibilities

Meet agreed, team and individual sales & support objectives with systems segment

Identify and develop new sales potentials to maximize sales revenue

Act as a high level technical partner for customers throughout the sales process

Demonstrate equipment to customers as required to facilitate the sale of products

Assist in the general support and training of distributors and Andor employees

Travel across the EMEA territory when requested

Provide market feed-back to assist in the shaping of future company strategy

Provide concise and accurate reports in a timely way
Qualifications & Experience

BSc or higher in a Life Science discipline

Awareness of the sales process

3+ years of experience using Fluorescence Microscopy / Photonics /Nanotechnology / CCD Spectroscopy in research

Willingness and desire to travel extensively within Europe

Another major EU language is a often strong advantage
