Associate Director External Supply
Our client, a growing organisation in the AI-driven medical device sector is seeking an Associate Director of External Supply to partner with senior leadership in managing global, cross-functional operations across R&D, NPI, Manufacturing, and Supply. As Associate Director External Supply you will act as a key operational leader, ensuring effective coordination across internal teams and external partners while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. This is a permanent role with hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Support oversight of outsourced R&D, NPI, manufacturing, and service partners
  • Ensure smooth transition from product development to manufacturing
  • Drive operational execution, batch release readiness, and supply continuity
  • Coordinate global logistics, compliance, and distributor supply
  • Track KPIs, manage vendor performance, and support risk mitigation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Technical teams
  • Identify cost efficiencies and support operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
  • 7+ years in operations within medical device, pharma, or a regulated industry
  • Experience managing external/outsourced partners
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, quality systems, and global supply
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and support senior leadership
