Demand Generation Lead
Our client is an established, internationally recognised Contract Research Organisation (CRO) specializing in indoor air quality, bioaerosol science, and environmental contaminant testing and are currently recruiting for a Demand Generation Lead to bridge the gap between their scientific expertise and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Website conversion: Own the website’s contribution to lead generation: prioritise service landing pages, enquiry forms, content and SEO improvements, and test conversion where traffic supports it. Coordinate technical changes with the relevant digital or external support.
- Campaigns and automation: Segment contacts in Zoho and build nurture, reactivation and targeted outbound campaigns. Give every campaign a defined audience, offer, target, timetable and review.
- Scientific content and events: Turn talks, papers and approved scientific material into useful content, landing pages and lead magnets. Build a repeatable process for lead capture and timely follow-up, with scientific review before publication.
- Sales alignment and measurement: Agree lead definitions and handover with sales. Maintain source tracking and a practical funnel dashboard; report qualified enquiries, opportunities, pipeline and won revenue, and use the results to improve campaigns.
Requirements
- Around 4–8 years in B2B demand generation or marketing operations, with personal ownership of campaigns that generated qualified opportunities and revenue.
- Hands-on use of a CRM and marketing automation platform, including segmentation, workflows, nurture campaigns and lead scoring. Zoho experience is desirable; equivalent platforms are relevant.
- Practical WordPress experience with landing pages, forms, SEO tools and routine content updates.
- Ability to build funnel reports, interpret conversion rates and explain commercial results clearly.
- Experience working closely with sales on complex, technical or high-value services; clear writing and the ability to translate technical material into a relevant customer offer.
- Understanding of email consent and tracking requirements, with a careful approach to scientific accuracy and confidential material.
