We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a Pharmaceutical organisation based in Dublin.

The role will be responsible for driving the site’s energy and sustainability initiatives through the GENIUS program while providing expert electrical engineering support. This role combines leadership in energy management with hands-on involvement in electrical project upgrades, energy optimizations, and preventive maintenance builds.

Duties:
GENIUS Lead / Energy & Sustainability

  • Lead and continuously improve the GENIUS energy management program.
  • Promote energy awareness and sustainability culture site-wide.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report energy consumption and sustainability metrics.
  • Develop and execute energy efficiency projects aligned with corporate goals.
  • Collaborate across teams to embed energy and sustainability practices.
  • Facilitate training and communication on energy conservation.
  • Ensure compliance with energy regulations and corporate policies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
Electrical Engineer / Site Electrical SME
  • Support electrical project upgrades, modifications, and PM builds.
  • Lead electrical design reviews, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.
  • Optimize electrical systems for energy efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain electrical documentation and assist with vendor coordination.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in electrical engineering and energy management in industrial settings.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in energy data analysis and electrical design.
  • Knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability frameworks, and regulations.
