Key Account Executive (Hospital Pharmacies)

Our client is a full service, leading Pharmaceutical Supplier and due to growth within the commercial team they are seeking a Key Account Manager. The successful person will be responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets in targeted hospitals for oncology and supportive care products.

As Key Account Executive, you will be responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets in targeted hospitals for all of our clients product portfolio.

You will be the main point of contact for your hospital accounts, understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions and exceptional customer service. Relationship management skills are essential as you will play a vital role in proactively developing and maintaining strong long-term relationships with your customers.

A strong commercial focus is critical in this role, with the ability to negotiate effectively, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast­ paced environment.

Role/ Responsibilities:

• Monitor and achieve sales and profitability targets ensuring alignment with financial objectives and optimising product pricing strategies.
• Identify & schedule meetings/calls with the key stakeholders within your allocated hospitals.
• Engage and collaborate internally to ensure that correct and competitive products are sourced & supplied
• Work with Procurement and Customer Support to develop and manage the product pipeline ensuring full and timely execution.
• Provide updates to your customers on lead times, pricing etc.
• Build and maintain positive relationships across functional teams within the business.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences required including EAHP/NAHPT/HPAI and be an ambassador to build the positive reputation of our client.
• Preparation of sales reports and analysis as requested
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GDP training & relevant SOPs

• Healthcare/ Science Degree
• Pharmacy Technician experience would be ideal
• A drive to business develop new and existing customers with strong delivery
• Full training will be provided
