Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialised chemistry and life science laboratory equipment for the chemistry and biology research markets. In Ireland, they have an established network of clients, predominantly in the pharmaceutical sector and third-level institutes.

They are currently seeking a Technical Representative to manage their existing client base and develop further opportunities in the Leinster/Ulster market. A degree in Chemistry is preferable but more important is to be self-motivated an enthusiastic candidate. The successful person shall report to the Irish Sales Manager and full product training shall be provided. Our client is a dynamically expanding company, and the right candidate will have an enjoyable and fulfilling career.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Sales Manager, identification and development of sales opportunities within the territory
  • Develop the region and the management of key accounts in this territory
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Frequent demonstrations of our large range of laboratory equipment
  • Presentations and seminars within the territory
  • Provision of support to other team members or territories as and when required
  • Maintaining an up-to-date customer database using our CRM system
  • The position will require frequent travel

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Degree level qualification in Chemistry field or similar
  • Sales experience preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
